We welcome abstracts from the following research topics:
(1) Areca nut and betel quid control policy/cessation/intervention
(2) OPMD and oral cancer screening strategies/effectiveness
(3) Early detection of oral cancer (biomarkers, AI tools)
(4) Management of oral cancer - trends and barriers
(5) Oral cancer survivorship
Abstract submission deadline: May 20, 2026, at 23:59 GMT+8
Abstract acceptance notifications will be dispatched within one week of successful submission.
The 3rd Global Oral Cancer Forum (GOCF 2026) will publish the accepted and edited abstracts in Oral Diseases following the GOCF 2026 conference as an e-print. The published abstracts will be indexed as a single Abstract Book, which will be a single Article (Citable Item) in Web of Science (WoS). For Scopus, abstracts will be indexed as Meeting Abstracts, which aren't included in the CiteScore calculation.

Guidelines for the Abstract Submission (Please note that all abstract submissions require prior account sign-up. Authors may submit their abstracts before paying the registration fee. Each abstract must be accompanied by at least one registered participant, and each registrant may be associated with only one abstract.):
- The abstract should be written in English and typed using the Microsoft Word software.
- The abstract title should be bold with the first letter capitalized.
- Use A4 format with 2.5 cm margins for the layout.
- For abstract content, please follow the following formatting: font style: Times New Roman; font-size: 12; paragraph: single line spacing. The entire abstract should not exceed one page. Please refer to the abstract template.
- The main content should not exceed 300 words.
- Please provide 3-6 keywords.
- The author list should be presented in English. There should be a "#" after the main presenter's last name and a "*" after the corresponding author's last name. (Please refer to the abstract template).
- Please carefully review your abstract. No modifications are allowed after submission.

Poster Presentation Guidelines | GOCF 2026
Thank you for participating in the 3rd Global Oral Cancer Forum (GOCF 2026). Please follow the instructions below to prepare and display your poster.
1. General Information

Presentation Schedule: May 30–31, 2026.

Presentation Venue: Hall A, B2 floor, International Academic Research Building (IRB), Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU).

Address: No. 100, Shih-Chuan 1st Road, Sanmin District, Kaohsiung City 807, Taiwan.
2. Poster Format & Dimensions

Recommended Size: Standard A0 size (84.1 cm × 118.9 cm).

Maximum Limit: The poster must not exceed 90 cm × 120 cm (approx. 3 ft × 4 ft).

Orientation: A Portrait (vertical) orientation is required to ensure a proper fit on the provided display boards.

Typography: Use clear, sans-serif typefaces (e.g., Arial or Helvetica) throughout the poster.

Legibility: All content must be clearly legible from a distance of approximately 3–4.5 meters (10–15 ft).

Printing: Please bring a high-resolution, printed physical copy of your poster to the venue for professional display.
3. Content Requirements
Your poster should be concise and focused, including the following:

Header: Title, full list of authors, and author affiliations displayed prominently at the top.

Main Body: A clearly organized presentation of the Background, Purpose, Methodology, Results, Conclusions, and References.

Visuals: High-resolution figures, tables, and graphs with clear captions or explanations.
4. On-site Instructions

Physical Copy: Presenters are responsible for bringing their own printed posters to the designated area on the day of the forum.

Mounting: Mounting materials (e.g., pins or tape) will be provided by the Secretariat on-site.

Placement: Please display your poster according to your assigned poster number.
