REFUND POLICY

Last Updated: January 22, 2026

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All registration fees paid for GOCF 2026 are non-refundable. Please read this policy carefully before completing your registration.

1. No Refund Policy

The GOCF 2026 Organizing Committee maintains a strict no-refund policy for all conference registrations. Once payment has been processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

By completing your registration and payment, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.

2. Conference Cancellation or Postponement

2.1 Conference Cancellation by Organizer

In the unlikely event that the conference is cancelled by the GOCF 2026 Organizing Committee:

  • Full refunds will be issued to all registered participants
  • Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the cancellation announcement
  • Refunds will be returned via the original payment method
  • The Organizing Committee is not responsible for any additional costs incurred (travel, accommodation, etc.)

2.2 Conference Postponement

If the conference is postponed to a new date:

  • All registrations will automatically transfer to the new date
  • Participants who cannot attend the new date may request a full refund within 30 days of the postponement announcement
  • Participants who do not request a refund within this period will be considered to have accepted the new date

2.3 Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, war, pandemic, government restrictions, etc.) that prevent the conference from taking place:

  • The Organizing Committee will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer virtual alternatives
  • Refund decisions will be made at the sole discretion of the Organizing Committee
  • The Organizing Committee's liability is limited to the registration fee paid

3. Payment Disputes

3.1 Credit Card Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card company does not override this no-refund policy. Such actions may result in:

  • Immediate cancellation of your registration
  • Denial of access to conference facilities and materials
  • Exclusion from future GOCF events
  • Legal action to recover disputed amounts plus associated costs

3.2 Payment Errors

If you believe there has been a billing error or duplicate charge:

  • Contact us immediately at service@gocf2026.com
  • Provide documentation of the error (transaction receipts, bank statements)
  • We will investigate and resolve legitimate errors within 10 business days
  • Refunds for verified errors will be processed promptly

4. Registration Confirmation

Before completing your payment, please ensure that:

  • You have selected the correct registration category and date
  • Your personal information is accurate and complete
  • You have reviewed all conference details and schedules
  • You understand and accept this no-refund policy
  • You have the necessary approvals (employer, funding source, etc.)

Registration is considered final upon payment processing.

5. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

The GOCF 2026 Organizing Committee reserves the right to consider refund requests in extraordinary circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Such exceptions are rare and entirely at the discretion of the Organizing Committee. Examples may include:

  • Serious medical emergencies with supporting documentation
  • Natural disasters affecting the participant's home region
  • Government-imposed travel restrictions

Requests for exceptional consideration must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation to service@gocf2026.com. There is no guarantee that such requests will be approved.

6. Pricing and Registration Categories

Please note:

  • Early bird and standard registration rates are final and cannot be adjusted retroactively
  • Upgrades to higher registration categories may be possible (contact us for pricing)
  • Downgrades to lower registration categories are not permitted and will not result in refunds
  • Group discounts, if applicable, must be claimed at the time of registration

7. Your Responsibilities

As a conference registrant, you are responsible for:

  • Understanding all conference dates, times, and format (in-person/virtual)
  • Ensuring you can meet all participation requirements
  • Arranging necessary travel documents (visas, passports, etc.)
  • Booking travel and accommodation at your own risk
